Arab Summit launched in Saudi Arabia

The 29th  Arab Summit launched in Dhahran city south of Dammam in Saudi Arabia, Qatar's emir boycotted the summit.

The summit will be attended by 17 Arabic kings and presidents from 22 countries, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, African Union Commission Chairperson Mousses Faki and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini .
The summit began with the speech of the Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II. The summit's presidency delivered to King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

King Abdullah II said "The eternal right of the Palestinians, the Arabs, the Muslims and the Christians in Jerusalem", calling the holy city "the key to peace in the region and the cornerstone."
For his part, King Salman said in his opening speech that " Palestine's couse is our first issue and will remain so," denouncing US President Donald Trump's decision on Jerusalem.
On the Yemeni side, King Salman said, "We hold Iran's terrorist militias the responsible of the crisis and human suffering in Yemen and we reject Tehran's blatant interference in Arab affairs."
The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Abu al-Gheit, also called on the Arabic countries to face together the Iranian interferences.
