Qatar’s Emir to lead his country's delegation in Arab Summit in Saudi

The Emir of Qatar, Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani will head his country's delegation to the Arab Summit in Saudi Arabia next Sunday after the Gulf crisis erupted.

Al-Rai Kuwaiti Newspaper quoted from an Arab diplomatic source, and said that the Emir of Qatar will head his country's delegation to the Arab Summit scheduled for Sunday in Saudi Arabia on April 15.

Qatari Foreign Ministry’s spokeswoman Lulwa al-Khater said on Saturday that the Gulf crisis will not be proposed to the agenda of the Arab Summit, noting that the Arab League’s General Secretary Ahmed Abo al-Gheith delivered an official invitation to his country to attend the summit.

The preparatory meetings for the summit at its 29th session are supposed to be launched on Monday.

The Gulf area has been experiencing a crisis since June 2017 with ending each of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt their relations with Qatar and imposing punitive measures on it for its support to terrorism which al-Doha denied and said that it is facing a campaign to loot its national decision.
