11 killed, injured in occupied Afrin

Crimes committed by Turkish occupation mercenaries and settlers against the indigenous population in Afrin continue. According to documentation by the Human Rights Organization in Afrin – Syria, five people were killed in mysterious circumstances in the city of occupied Afrin during November 2025, in addition to the abduction of one person.

A citizen was also injured by gunfire from thieves, another person was shot by settlers, and a woman was shot after her husband was killed by armed robbers.

Two individuals were beaten and abused during attempts to steal their property by thieves, while a young man in the village of Nairabiya was assaulted by Turkish occupation mercenaries.

Olive Harvest Theft

Regarding the olive harvest, the most notable events occurred in October and November, during which the organization documented part of these thefts. Around 8,700 trees were stolen and looted by thieves, settlers, and Turkish occupation mercenaries in the villages and towns of Afrin.

Forest trees were also cut down in the villages of Baflion, Arab Wiran, the city of Sharan, Turmusheh, Arinde, Ramadana, and the town of Shieh in the Afrin countryside, covering large areas, especially with the approach of winter, to trade their wood.

Violations against the residents of the occupied city continue, including the burning of a kiosk belonging to a citizen under circumstances described by locals as mysterious.
