The Women's Protection Units (YPJ) command visited al-Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Issa Ahmed in his office in al-Hasakah city today, on the occasion of his assumption of office.

The visit was attended by members of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units, Rohlat Afrin and Viyan Adar, and the spokesperson for the Women's Protection Units, Roxana Muhammad, along with a number of female fighters.

During the meeting, the Women's Protection Units command congratulated Governor Nour al-Din Issa Ahmed on assuming his duties, emphasizing the importance of the role played by the Governor of al-Hasakah in promoting security and stability in the governorate, which serves the people of the region and contributes to consolidating civil peace.

For his part, the Governor of al-Hasakah appreciated this visit, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination between the various institutions and stakeholders to achieve stability and enhance security in the region.
