Young man killed, three others injured by shooting in Sweida

A young man was killed and three others were injured after they were shot by an unknown car near the Omran Roundabout in the city of Sweida.

A young man was killed and three others were injured on Wednesday evening in a shooting carried out by unidentified individuals driving a car near the Omran Roundabout in Sweida, according to ANHA correspondents in the city.

Medical sources told ANHA correspondents that the young man, Nawras Nasser, arrived at the hospital dead as a result of a gunshot wound to the neck, while Qais Rashid was injured in the chest, and Hazem Osama Abu Saeed, in addition to Yazan Khudair, who was taken to surgery after being shot in the back.

The sources added that one of the injured was admitted to intensive care due to his critical condition, while another was transferred to Al-Hikma Hospital to continue treatment.

The identity of the shooters remains unknown, while the relevant authorities have begun an investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
