Young man killed at farm in Masyaf

A murder took place in the Masyaf countryside early Monday morning, claiming the life of young man Ghiyath Nawfal Suleiman, who was found dead inside his poultry farm located about two kilometers east of Kafr Kamrah village.

According to our ANHA correspondent, citing eyewitnesses, Suleiman was found inside the farm after being killed. However, the circumstances of the crime, the identity of those responsible and their motives remain unclear.

The incident comes two days after a young man working as a farm guard was killed in al-Qabu village in the Homs countryside, about nine kilometers away from the site of the latest killing, according to information circulating locally.

According to local accounts, the area has witnessed repeated incidents of theft and looting amid the spread of weapons and a lack of effective deterrent measures, raising concerns among residents, farmers and owners of agricultural facilities over the possibility of similar incidents recurring.
