The Patriotic Union parliamentary bloc said in a statement: "We strongly condemn and denounce the brutal attack launched by Turkish drones on citizens of the Kurdistan Region. In less than 72 hours, Turkish aircraft launched 3 separate attacks on the borders of the Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk governorates, which led to the martyrdom of 7 citizens, two of whom belong to the same family and one of them is a young child, in addition to seriously injuring a number of others."

After offering condolences to the families of the martyrs, and calling for a speedy recovery for the wounded, the Patriotic Union bloc stressed that "the continuation of the attacks and aerial bombardment, and the silence of the federal government and the regional government regarding what is being exposed to the sovereignty of Iraq and the martyrdom and injury of citizens, is a kind of satisfaction and giving legitimacy to those attacks," calling on "the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to break their silence and take serious positions."

A Turkish occupation drone targeted a car in the district of Jawarta in Sulaymaniyah Governorate this Thursday afternoon, which led to the martyrdom of three people inside the targeted car.

A Turkish drone also bombed a car on the Dokan-Khalkan road in Sulaymaniyah yesterday, Wednesday, which resulted in the martyrdom of a man and his two sons.

According to statistics from the American Community Peacebuilding Teams (CPT), which were published in the middle of last month, over more than 33 years, Turkish and Iranian attacks have caused 854 civilian casualties, 425 of whom died, and the majority of civilian casualties were due to Turkish attacks.
