Women from Kobani demand physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan

Women from Kobani spoke to ANHA agency regarding the ongoing isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Khenaf Khalil stated that the women of Kobani demand the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, saying: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been imprisoned for over 26 years for the freedom of humanity. The Turkish state continuously enforces isolation on him, aiming to separate the leader from the people. However, we will persist and strengthen our resistance until we see our leader among us personally.”

Khenaf also pointed to the continuation of isolation on the leader, adding: “The Turkish state has, for some time, prohibited family members and lawyers from visiting the leader, which clearly indicates a lack of sincerity in the peace process initiated by the leader.”

Maysun Kawar shed light on Leader Ocalan’s struggle for women’s rights, stating: “The leader brought women out of darkness into light, and we will crown this light with victory through his ideas. We will fight for the leader’s physical freedom until the very end, for his freedom is the freedom of the entire world. He holds the key to solving all the world’s problems, and without him, freedom will not be realized nor will these issues be resolved. Therefore, we will continually struggle for his freedom.”

Samira Hallaj emphasized that the leader wages an unparalleled struggle for women’s freedom, saying: “Despite his imprisonment, Leader Abdullah Ocalan fights for the freedom of all oppressed people and women. We are here because of the leader, and we will continue our struggle and resistance until his physical freedom is achieved.”

Nasra Darwish affirmed the continuation of resistance until the leader’s physical freedom is realized, declaring: “We will amplify our voices to the world, and we will always work and fight until our demand for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is fulfilled."
