Women call to meet leader Ocalan
"Our main demand is to meet Leader Abdullah Ocalan," the women affirmed, pointing out that they will continue their struggle until his physical freedom is achieved.
The European Freedom and Peace Platform launched a global campaign titled "I want to meet Abdullah Ocalan" at the beginning of June, and women shared their opinions on the matter.
"Our work and activities are based on the ideas of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. My dream and wish is to meet the leader. Seeing him has been my dream since childhood," Kula Mohammed, a woman displaced from Afrin, said.
Kula also mentioned that all mothers yearn to meet the leader, continuing:
"We await the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. His philosophy has illuminated the path for women."
Sherin Abbas, a citizen from Hasaka, highlighted the global resonance of Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s call for "peace and a democratic society." She said: "With this call, all women must play their role in achieving the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."
"As women, we want to join the global campaign under the slogan 'I want to meet Abdullah Ocalan'. We will always struggle in the public squares for the leader, because his freedom is the freedom of women and all peoples. For us, seeing him is a dream we strive to fulfill, and our demand for his freedom has not ceased since the moment of his arrest until today," Sherin added.
Sosi Sarkis also expressed: "For us Armenian women, meeting Leader Abdullah Ocalan is a dream and a deep wish. We want to see our leader among us. His freedom is our wish, and we will do whatever it takes to achieve it, because the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the freedom of women. Therefore, women must always struggle for him."
