Women and Youth of Çil Agha join general mobilization

Women and youth from the city of Çil Agha in the Jazira Canton expressed their decision to join the general mobilization declared by the Autonomous Administration and confirmed their support for the resistance of Rojava.

A Moral and Social Duty

Citizen Hazna Timo, a member of the Martyrs’ Families Council, stated that joining the general mobilization is a moral and social duty to defend the people, the land, and society, especially in light of a genocidal campaign targeting the peoples of the region in general and the Kurdish people in particular.

She added that the families of martyrs will continue to defend their achievements and the areas liberated by the blood of their children, stressing the continuation of struggle along the path of the martyrs until the last breath.

She noted that this step comes within the framework of protecting their areas and neighborhoods from the dangers of ISIS and the attacks carried out by militias of the interim government.

For her part, citizen Maryam Mohammed emphasized that the current stage requires the combined efforts of all components to protect the region from the danger of ISIS and the attacks launched by mercenaries of the interim government.

She pointed out that joining the general mobilization at this sensitive stage is no longer an option, but an urgent necessity to protect the region from terrorism, pledging to continue the struggle with a spirit of resistance and responsibility until the last moment.

Popular Unity and Youth Awareness

In turn, Mohammed Ali explained that the general mobilization represents a state of popular unity and reflects the youth’s awareness of their responsibilities toward protecting their areas. He stressed that defending the region is a legitimate right in light of the escalating danger posed by ISIS, which threatens the existence of Kurds on their land.

He affirmed the continuation of resistance and defense alongside the military forces.

Similarly, Serbest Hassan stressed that the people of the city will stand against the systematic attacks targeting the region, affirming that they will not allow massacres to be committed against civilians and will continue resisting in defense of their existence and dignity.
