The Afrin Human Rights Organization - Syria reported that the Turkish occupation mercenaries, the "Military Police," kidnapped the citizen Khonaf Hassan Khalil (55 years old) and her brother Benkin Khalil (30 years old) during their visit to their family in the village of Basouta in the Shirawa town, in the countryside of occupied Afrin after more than six years of forced displacement in Aleppo city.

The organization indicated that when Khonaf requested to see her house, which had been seized by a leader of the "Hamzat" mercenaries, she and her brother Benkin were kidnapped, his car was seized, and the mercenaries demanded a ransom of between $15,000 and $16,000 for their release.

The organization added that the mercenaries took them to their headquarters in Afrin, and their fate remains unknown.

The cycle of kidnappings and violations against the people of Afrin who refuse to abandon their land and homes continues, with or without accusations, to tighten the noose around them and force them to flee.
