According to the Crisis Cell of the Autonomous Administration of NE Syria, which is responsible for issues concerning arrivals from Lebanon, the total number of individuals entering the region from Lebanon has now reached 20,051.

The Crisis Cell reported that among the arrivals are: 7,360 men, 6,168 women, 6,409 children, 86 Lebanese nationals, and 28 bodies.

The newcomers are heading either to their homes or to relatives in NE Syria. Those without a place to go are provided with shelter centers by the Autonomous Administration.

The representative office of the Autonomous Administration of NE Syria in Lebanon and the Newroz Cultural and Social Association continuously organize trips for Syrians wishing to return from Lebanon to the region.

The representative office in Lebanon has taken on the responsibility of facilitating the return of Syrians who wish to come back, having formed a committee on September 24 to address the needs of Syrian refugees.

The military escalation between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah has driven tens of thousands of Syrians, who had been working in Lebanon or had gone there during the onset of the Syrian crisis, to return to their homeland, as the escalation has resulted in the deaths of dozens of Syrians.
