Widespread fire erupts in Tal Tamr countryside, calls for urgent response 

A large-scale fire erupted in the northern countryside of Tal Tamr after the Turkish occupation base stationed in the occupied village of Aziziyah ignited agricultural lands, causing flames to rapidly spread toward several nearby villages and resulting in material damage to private property.

The fire spread from Aziziyah to the villages of al-Dardara, Khashmat Zerkan, Mjibira Zerkan, Qubur al-Qarajnah, and Sheikh Ali, fueled by strong winds and high temperatures. The blaze burned vast areas of agricultural land and reached populated areas.

The fire caused damage to homes and civilian property in the villages of al-Dardara and Khashmat Zerkan, as residents face the risk of the flames reaching additional homes and crops.

Emergency teams, with the participation of local residents, are continuing efforts to battle the fire in an attempt to contain the flames and prevent their spread to new areas, despite challenges posed by the scale of the blaze and weather conditions that are contributing to its expansion.

Residents of the affected villages issued urgent appeals to relevant authorities and firefighting teams to strengthen field response and provide the necessary support to control the fire and protect residential areas and agricultural lands. They warned that the continued spread of flames could lead to further losses if the fire is not quickly contained.
