Amuda's post office reopened in presence of Hasakah Governor

The post office in the city of Amouda was reopened today in the presence of Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad and local residents, after being closed for 14 years.

A reopening ceremony was held in Amouda with the participation of Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad, representatives of institutions, and a number of residents from the area.

The post office had closed its doors in 2012 before the Hasakah Provincial Post Directorate reactivated it today.

The governor officially opened the center, then met with its employees and discussed the mechanism for restoring its operations and developing the services it will provide to citizens.

During a press conference, Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad said they are continuing efforts to reactivate all service centers in the region, highlighting their role in providing services to residents, organizing administrative affairs, and facilitating transactions, including the payment of retirees’ salaries.

He added that the administration is working to expand service and development projects in the region, alongside reopening post offices in various areas.

The post office in the town of Rumilan, affiliated with the city of Girkê Legê, is also scheduled to be reopened today.
