“We must put pressure on governments, international organizations to break the isolation”

The head of the Future Syria Party Council in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Yahya Al-Ali, confirmed their rejection of the strict isolation of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: “We strongly reject the detention of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and demand his release. His rights to freedom must be protected in accordance with international laws and human rights.”

Yahya Al-Ali explained their support for the global campaign demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said: “It is necessary to put pressure on governments and international organizations to guarantee the rights of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in accordance with international human rights standards.”

In his turn, the co-chairmanship of the Eastern Region Council in Deir ez-Zor, Salah Al-Salman, said: “We stand here today in solidarity and support of the global campaign against the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan by the Turkish state.”

Al-Salman stressed the need to put pressure on international forces and human rights organizations to stand up to the Turkish occupation state to end the isolation of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The co-chair of the Eastern Region Council, Safia Al-Hassan, stressed the need for Leader Abdullah Ocalan to gain his physical freedom. She explained: “The state forces and human rights organizations must show their position on the case of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in light of the legal violations committed by the Turkish state there.”
