War-wounded federation pledged to continue resistance until physical freedom achieved 

The sit-in activities in Hasakah=, demanding the freedom of Leader Ocalan, entered its fifth day in a row as part of the campaign “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue,” with participants demanding that the leader obtain his physical freedom.

On the fifth day, the people of Al-Hawl and Al-Arisha districts, war-wounded school members and the Mothers of Peace, who wore white jackets bearing the image of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, went to the sit-in tent erected in the city of Al-Hasakah.

Speaking during the event, member of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Hol district, Ammar Al-Mousa, explained: “All the practices that Turkey is carrying out towards Leader +Ocalan, and the attacks targeting our regions, aim to eliminate the will of the people in light of the silence of the international community and its failure to express any position.”

Member of the war-wounded federation, Ibrahim al-Nazzal, criticized the silence of the international powers regarding what Turkey was committing against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and pledged to continue the resistance until the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The people of Tal Brak district and the IDPs of Sere Kaniye camp are scheduled to join the sit-in tent event tomorrow.
