Two security members injured in Deir Ezzor attack

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces published a statement from the General Command regarding an attack on one of their vehicles carrying personnel in the Al-Hissan area of the Deir Ezzor countryside this afternoon.

According to the statement, the attackers carried out the assault using a motorcycle, directly firing at the vehicle, which led to injuries to two Internal Security Forces members, one of whom is a female member of the Internal Security Forces – Women’s Unit.

 The statement noted that the injured were immediately taken for medical treatment. The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria held instigating entities responsible for the attack, stating: "We hold those entities promoting hate speech and incitement against the institutions of the Autonomous Administration morally responsible for this cowardly attack."

The statement affirmed that their forces would continue their duties in defending the land and protecting citizens' lives.

 It also called on residents to cooperate and report any suspicious movements or activities that threaten the security and stability of the region.
