Turkish occupation soldiers set fire to a village in the Berwari Bala area of Duhok province, S. Kurdistan, causing extensive damage to agricultural land and properties, as well as homes in the village.

In a new escalation of their ongoing attacks on S. Kurdistan, Turkish occupation soldiers deliberately ignited a fire in the village of Khashkhash in the Berwari Bala area of Amediya district in Duhok province,S. Kurdistan. 

According to information obtained by Roj News, the Turkish occupation forces started the fire intentionally, which quickly spread throughout the village. Despite the villagers' efforts to control the blaze, it continued for hours, burning large areas of agricultural land and damaging properties and homes.

These attacks have sparked anger and discontent among the residents, who face a constant threat to their lives and property from the Turkish occupation army.

Local and international human rights organizations have previously condemned these acts, calling for the "international community to intervene to stop these repeated violations against civilians in S. Kurdistan.”
