Turkish occupation mercenaries assault elderly couple in occupied Afrin

Turkish occupation mercenaries assaulted an elderly man, Faiq Habash, in his sixties, and his wife, Amina Issa, both from the village of Bibaka, in the town of Bulbul in occupied Afrin.

According to reliable local sources, the assault occurred late at night when the mercenaries raided Faiq Habash's home, severely beating him, and tying his hands and feet in order to rob his house.

The source also confirmed that his wife also suffered head fractures while attempting to defend her husband and free him from their grip, despite her deteriorating health and the fact that she had undergone surgery. Her hands and feet were also shackled and she was left in this condition until the morning.

Elderly man Faiq Habash returned with his wife from Aleppo to their village nearly a year ago, but he was not spared repeated extortion threats from the mercenaries.

A few days ago, an audio recording of the head of the village of Bibaka, located in the town of Bulbul, circulated, demanding that Kurdish citizens who had recently returned to their homes report to the branch affiliated with the Turkish occupation mercenaries, otherwise they would be subjected to threats and assault.

Occupied Afrin is witnessing kidnappings, assaults, and looting by Turkish occupation mercenaries. Numerous cases of citizens being kidnapped and their families blackmailed for ransom have been recorded.
