Turkish occupation continues attacks, SDF responds with 3 significant operations

In a statement, the SDF confirmed that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have been targeting the countryside of Tishrin Dam, Qereqozaqê, and Deir Hafir, and that their forces responded to the attacks with three impactful operations.

The statement read: "The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue to carry out aggressive attacks against the regions of North and East Syria.

Yesterday, Thursday, Turkish warplanes launched several airstrikes on the workers’ housing area near Tishrin Dam. Meanwhile, on Wednesday night and early Thursday, Turkish drones targeted the village of 'Khirbet al-Zamala,' southeast of Manbij, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling around the dam, causing material damage.

On the Qereqozaqê Bridge front, Turkish warplanes launched an airstrike on the village of Ghasaq near the bridge. Drones also targeted the village of 'Bir Hasso.' Additionally, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries carried out heavy artillery, tank, rocket, and mortar shelling on the villages of 'Al-Tina, Ja’da, Bir Hasso, Ghasaq, Dikan, Malha, and Al-San’a,' as well as the hills of 'Sifi and Qereqozaqê,' with more than 80 shells, causing significant material damage to residents' homes and property.

In response to the occupation and its mercenaries’ attacks, our fighters carried out two operations targeting Turkish occupation sites and bases west of Qereqozaqê Bridge. The extent of the losses inflicted on them is not yet known.

Meanwhile, the Martyr Haroun Unit carried out an operation against a gathering of the occupation’s mercenaries as they were preparing to launch an attack on one of our forces' positions on the Deir Hafir front, resulting in the confirmed injury of a mercenary."
