Transitional Govt.'s factions target civilian vehicle in Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh vicinity

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) in Aleppo announced in a statement released a while ago a new ceasefire violation by factions affiliated with the Transitiona Government in the vicinity of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods, as a civilian vehicle was targeted in the Castello area, causing damage.

The statement included, "We, in the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo, announce a new ceasefire violation by factions affiliated with the Interim Ministry of Defense in several axes surrounding the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods."

In the details, these factions targeted a civilian vehicle; a bulldozer, working in a quarry between the Youth Housing area and the Castello area, and the attack resulted in inflicting financial damage to the vehicle, which led to its complete inoperable.

Other violations were also recorded in the vicinity of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, specifically in al-Shihan roundabout area and the Awaredh checkpoint. These actions constitute a blatant violation of the concluded agreements and the signed ceasefire, posing a threat to security and stability in the two neighborhoods in particular and the region in general.

The statement made clear, "We, in the Internal Security Forces, affirm that these violations constitute a direct threat to the civilians' lives, and endanger public security. We hold the Transitional Government responsible for these violations, demanding that immediate measures be taken to stop these actions and enforce respect for agreements and truces by all concerned parties."
