Thwarting Turkish occupation attacks, killing 13 mercenaries and wounding another

Today, the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the public regarding the thwarting of the attempts of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to advance in the Tishreen Dam area and southeast of Manbij, stating:

"In light of the relentless attempts of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to make progress on the battlefronts in the Tishreen Dam and the areas southeast of Manbij, the forces of the Manbij Military Council confronted, on Saturday, all attacks supported by Turkish warplanes and drones, and thwarted them, and inflicted heavy losses among the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.

At one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continued their attacks on the villages surrounding the Tishreen Dam, and clashes between our forces and mercenaries continued until five o'clock in the evening. In the morning, the Turkish occupation targeted the area with heavy artillery shelling, and then they began an attack on Siriatel Hill. However, our forces were able to repel the attack and destroy a car carrying soldiers, and it was confirmed that 8 mercenaries on board had been killed.

At the same time, at 01:30 pm, the mercenaries launched an attack on the "Abu Said" farm, and they were confronted, where it was confirmed that /5/ mercenaries were also killed.

After thwarting all attacks by our forces, and the enemy suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment, the entrance to the village of Khirbet al-Zamala was violently bombarded with heavy artillery.

On the other hand, the units of the martyr Haroun targeted enemy points, concentrations and vehicles in the area, where the number of targets reached /13/ targets.

On the Deir Hafer front, our forces targeted a point of the Turkish occupation mercenaries near the city of Deir Hafer, seriously wounding one of the mercenaries.

The Turkish occupation had targeted Friday the sugar factory, east of the city of Deir Hafer, with warplanes, and resulted in the destruction of important sections in the factory, although it is a civilian and vital facility that provides services to citizens, the Turkish occupation targets everything in the region of NE Syria, even civilian facilities are not spared from its aggression, it fights the people for their livelihood."
