Autonomous Administration in Tabqa serves Deir Hafer, Al-Dabsi and Maskana

The Democratic Autonomous Administration in Tabqa Canton held a series of meetings with the people of the town of Deir Hafer, Al-Dabsi and Maskana, with the aim of reactivating service institutions to facilitate the affairs of the people, and held meetings with employees of the institutions of the former Baath regime to discuss ways to activate them.

As a result, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Tabqa Canton began to provide basic services, such as fuel, flour, and the operation of ovens.

Ahmed al-Omar, co-chair of the executive council in Tabqa Canton, told ANHA agency that they worked on urgent intervention to meet the basic needs of the people such as flour, heating fuel and transportation on a daily basis.

"We are working on holding a series of meetings with residents and notables in the eastern countryside of Aleppo to assess the service situation," Ahmed al-Omar said.

Al-Omar indicated that they directed the Autonomous Administration bodies to visit these areas and prepare detailed reports on them, especially since these areas were largely neglected by the former regime, and there was a lack of capabilities and lack of necessities of life.

"We met with workers in the region's departments and institutions in the past with the aim of filling the vacuum and reorganizing the work of health institutions, education, bakeries, municipalities and other service institutions to continue providing services to the people," al-Omar added.

The co-chair of the Executive Council in Tabqa Canton explained that the Autonomous Administration has activated some institutions initially, such as municipalities and ovens, and irrigation stations are being rehabilitated through technical teams specialized in this field, as the areas of Al-Debsi, Deir Hafer and Maskana are agricultural areas.
