Syrian transitional govt. attacks 2 villages north of Deir Hafar

A drone operated by the Syrian transitional government forces carried out an overnight strike between Thursday and Friday on the villages of Imam and Umm Tina, north of Deir Hafar, causing material damage with no civilian casualties, in a new escalation of security tensions in the area.

The media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces reported that a drone belonging to the transitional government forces launched a strike overnight between Thursday and Friday, targeting the villages of Imam and Umm Tina, located north of Deir Hafar in the Tabqa canton, North and East Syria.

The same parties also targeted the Deir Hafar crossing in the area using sniper weapons.

According to the information received, the strike resulted in material damage affecting civilian property and the vicinity of the targeted sites, with no casualties reported.

This attack comes as part of a series of escalating security tensions and repeated targeting carried out by the transitional government forces in the countryside of Tabqa and Raqqa.
