Signatures campaign in Raqqa continues with great passion

The campaign of signatures demanding the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan continues by the people of Raqqa Canton, amid their emphasis on the necessity of struggle and raising their voices loudly, within the campaign launched by the Popular Initiative for North and East Syria since the 9th of last February.

The people of Raqqa Canton are signing with great enthusiasm and passion in order to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, as the committees responsible for collecting signatures have entered all the neighborhoods of Raqqa Canton.

Member of the committee responsible for collecting signatures, Ali Al-Khalaf, spoke to ANHA's agency about how the process of collecting signatures is proceeding in the canton. He said: “The process is continuing and is witnessing a large turnout from the people and will continue until next April.”

Rasha Al-Nayef, a resident of the Mafraq Al-Jazra neighborhood, when she signed the petition, said: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan is a role model for us and we sign the petition, in order to demand his freedom.”
