Several homes burn in al-Aboush village as fire reaches Tal Tamr

ANHA correspondent documented the burning of several houses in Al-Aboush village, north of the city of Tal Tamr, after fires allegedly ignited by Turkish occupation military bases in the countryside of Zarghan reached the outskirts of the village. Intensive efforts are underway by local residents and emergency teams to contain the blaze and stop its expansion.

Field footage showed flames and thick smoke rising from several locations within the village. Residents rushed to evacuate threatened areas and attempted to extinguish the fire using available resources, while emergency teams continued their operations that have been ongoing for hours.

According to ANHA correspondent, the fire caused material damage to several homes and properties. Concerns remain that the flames could spread to additional houses and agricultural lands, particularly as conditions continue to favor the spread of wildfires.

The fires burning in the countryside of Zarghan also caused partial disruption to traffic on the road connecting Tal Tamr and Zarghan after the flames spread toward villages located east of the road.

Emergency teams and local residents continue their efforts to contain the fire and protect villages along its path, amid a state of alert across the region.
