NE Syria and Aleppo witnessed a series of events on the occasion of April 4, the birth of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which included planting trees and organizing lectures.
On April 4, the people of North and East Syria and Aleppo celebrate the birth of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, by planting trees to confirm that Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s project includes preserving the environment, in addition to organizing lectures and meetings.
Qamişlo
On January 8, the Women's Ecological Platform announced that the campaign it launched in 2023 under the slogan “Building forests against desertification” will continue this year under a new slogan, “Let us resist for the sake of our existence against the annihilation of women and nature and let us achieve freedom.”
The Stêrk Association’s campaign to follow up and protect children’s rights in NE Syria continues to plant 100 fruit trees and flowers in the city of Qamishlo; The children of the Alaya and Judy neighborhoods planted trees in the communes of the martyr Damhat Qamishlo, the martyr Mazloum in the Alaya neighborhood, and the martyr Sido in the Judy neighborhoof, in addition to planting trees in the homes belonging to those communes.
Çil Axa
In this context, Kongra Star in Çil Axa district organized a lecture in the village of Zakhira, located in the countryside of the district, which began with a minute of silence.
It was delivered by the administrator of the Women’s Hoom in the district, Huda Ali, who congratulated the leader’s birth and the Eid of Akito, and said: “In order to understand the thought and approach of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, he is the only way to reach the truth.”
Today, the Democratic Society Training and Education Committee in the city of Aleppo organized a celebration at the Martyr Afashin Damhat School in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, attended by residents, representatives of civil institutions and the General Council, as well as unions.
The celebration began with a minute of silence, then the attendees planted some trees in the school yard, followed by singing performances by the Martyr Agid Çîlo Band, and folk dancing performances by the Martyr Judy Amanos Band.
The celebration ended with chanting, "There is no life without the leader."
