The Al-Watan newspaper website, which is close to the Damascus government, reported that strong explosions were heard in the sky of the capital, Damascus, while the Athar Press website indicated that the sounds heard in the capital were caused by an explosion in the Mezzeh area, where the website said that the Israeli targeting was for a building adjacent to the Iranian embassy.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that there were explosions heard in the Mezzeh area in Damascus, noting that the air defenses of the Damascus forces were confronting targets overhead.

As for the “Sawt Al-Asimah” website, it said that Israeli raids targeted the Mezzeh Highway in the capital, Damascus.

Today's bombing came after Israel bombed the vicinity of the Dimas area yesterday, where the Syrian Observatory said that Israeli missiles targeted a site between the Al-Hama and Jamraya areas in Damascus.
