SDF destroys Tank, Military Vehicles in response to Turkish mercenaries attacks

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement today addressing the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries attacks on villages south and east of Manbij and in the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam. The statement read as follows:

 "With the involvement of hundreds of fighters from the 'Guardians of Religion' organization, including Uzbek, Turkestani, and Chechen nationals, the Turkish occupation and its militias launched intense assaults on villages south and east of Manbij and in the rural areas surrounding the Tishreen Dam. Our forces repelled these attacks, inflicting heavy casualties, with dozens killed and wounded among the militia ranks.

 Earlier today, supported by five Turkish occupation drones along with modern Turkish tanks and armored vehicles, the mercenaries launched violent attacks on the villages of Al-Atshanah, Al-Sa'idin, Kharbat Al-Tuwaina, Makhshiyyat Sheikh Ubaid Al-Mustafa, Kharbat Zamalah, Al-Mustahah, Sa'idin, the Sarayatil Hill, and Aloush village in the south and east of Manbij. Our fighters successfully thwarted all these assaults, killing dozens of militia members and destroying six armored vehicles, including a tank and two vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.

 Our fighters, demonstrating remarkable resistance against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, engaged in direct combat with the attackers. The SDF Media Center will release footage of these confrontations and the destruction of enemy vehicles at a later time.

 In response to the failed attacks, the Turkish occupation escalated its strikes using drones and heavy artillery targeting the Tishreen Dam and its surroundings, causing damage to several parts of the dam. These attacks pose significant risks to the dam's structural integrity. We hold the Turkish occupation fully responsible for any potential harm to the dam or its surroundings."
