SDF continues to combat fuel smuggling through river crossings
Within the framework of the "strengthening security and stability" operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces in Deir ez-Zor to combat corruption and eliminate the smuggling phenomenon, they were able to seize quantities of plastic pipes intended for smuggling fuel to areas of the Damascus government in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
Our correspondent reported that the process of seizing pipes for transporting fuel through the river crossings connecting with areas under the control of Damascus government forces on the other bank of the Euphrates River took place during tours by the Syrian Democratic Forces at the river crossings and combating smuggling operations.
The Syrian Democratic Forces continue their operations to control security and stability in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and limit smuggling operations.
On November 7, the forces seized other quantities of pipes and removed them in a campaign targeting the areas of “Al-Geneina, Al-Hassan, Muhaymida, Al-Zaghir, Al-Kubar, and Al-Harmoushiya, in addition to the Jdeid Bakara area, the Jdeid Agidat area, Dhiban, Abu Hamam, Gharanij, and Al-Baghouz in the eastern countryside.”
