The ministry added in a statement via "Telegram" that the strikes also targeted infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv port, including loading and unloading facilities, fuel and lubricant tanks, which it said are used to support the Ukrainian armed forces.

It explained that the attacks were carried out using precision munitions and drones, pointing out that another cargo ship near Odessa was targeted, which, according to her account, was transporting military shipments to the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk.

These developments come amid the escalation of reciprocal military operations between Russia and Ukraine in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov in recent weeks.
