The People’s Municipality in the city of Tel Tamer has begun rehabilitation work on the temporary road along the international M4 highway, following damage caused by the rising water levels of the Khabur River due to heavy rainfall over the past few days.

ANHA correspondent reported that repair and maintenance work has been completed, and the road has been reopened to vehicle traffic and movement between both sides of the city after water levels receded and the bridge was repaired using municipal machinery, restoring traffic flow.

According to the People’s Municipality administration, its plans also include repairing the main collapsed bridge on the international M4 road as a permanent solution, to ensure stable transit movement and prevent recurring damage during the upcoming rainy seasons.
