Based on the agreement signed between the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh Neighborhood Councils and representatives of the Damascus authorities, specifically Article 5, which stipulates the removal of barriers and the opening of roads, coordination between the two sides began today. Engineering vehicles began removing the barriers from the Awarid-Al-Sika Road between the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods and the rest of Aleppo. Work is also underway to set up joint checkpoints from the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria and the "General Security" forces affiliated with the Damascus authorities at the sites where the  barriers will be removed.
