Syria is witnessing attempts by regional powers to prolong the crisis; by stirring up strife among Syrians, especially between the Autonomous Administration and the Damascus government.

The Syrian politician and Secretary-General of the Syrian Change and Renaissance Party, Mustafa Qalaaji, spoke to ANHA Agency, saying that "all those intervening in the Syrian crisis are managing it according to their own interests, therefore, they always stir up strife and invest in it."

Regarding the dialogue between the Damascus government and the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Qalaaji stressed that "it is no longer an option, but rather a necessity imposed by the reality of the situation for the national interest."

He referred to the path of Syrian-Turkish rapprochement, saying: "There has always been communication between Turkey and Damascus, and as a result, these are the interests of countries, and unfortunately Turkey was and still is pushing towards achieving the greatest possible extent of its national charter, certainly the relationship between the two countries has gone through ebb and flow, but it was not in the interest of the Syrian people at all.

Qalaaji concluded his speech by saying: "The Syrian-Syrian dialogue is no longer an option, but rather an urgent necessity, so all Syrians must bear this responsibility for thei interests."
