Speaking to ANHA Agency, the member of the Yazidi Union in Syria, Suad Hasso said that " The goal of KDP officials statements on the anniversary of the Shengal massacre is to stir up strife, and pave the way for the new Ottomanism."

She continued, "During the Ottoman era many statements were issued against the Yazidis, now they want to return to the same approach and attack the Yazidis. Furthermore, they are trying to make us forget the massacres against us." "They do not want the Yazidis and other components to live together"

Hasso pointed to the Kurdistan Democratic Party's abandonment of the Yazidis in the last decree (massacre) that the Yazidis were subjected to on August 3, 2014, as it left them to face genocide alone, by saying: "History is full of anti-Yazidi plots, and today they seek to create conflicts and stir up strife in society. They do not want the components to live together in peace. They want to displace and exterminate the Yazidis."

She made the point clear that: "The great resistance in the face of the genocide plot has resulted in the establishment of a Autonomous Administration System, as hundreds of Guerrilla fighters were martyred for Shengal and the Yazidi community.

Suad Hasso stressed the need for all communities to defend their religions against attacks, adhere to their nationalism and culture, and establish the principle of good neighborliness and friendship in the face of strife.

"We have confronted these massacres so far with the strength and thought of leader Ocalan" Hasso concluded.
