Aims of simultaneous attacks on NE Syria
The Co-Chair of the Girê Spî City Council described the escalation of the attacks on the North and East of Syria as "common goals" due to the intersection of interests, indicating ways to confront them.
The Co- Chair of the Girê Spî City Council, Fadhila Muhammad said that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are launching intensive ground and air strikes on the countryside of Afrin and al-Shahba cantons, Manbij canton, and SDF points in al-Jazira canton within the countryside of al-Hasaka city, in addition to the countryside of Girê Spî and Ain Issa in the Euphrates canton.
This coincides with the bombing and attack by the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" since midnight (Tuesday-Wednesday) from their points in the countrysides of Al-Mayadeen, Al-Bukamal and the Al-Ashara area, on the villages and towns of the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
The towns of Dhiban, Al-Shahil, Al-Tayana, Darnaj, Abu Hardoub, Abu Hamam, Al-Lattah and Gharanij are being targeted, while the Syrian Democratic Forces are taking the necessary measures.
The ongoing bombing by the Damascus government forces has resulted in the martyrdom of 14 civilians including two fighters from the SDF, the injury of 26 others, and severe damage to citizens' property.
She explained that the first common goal is to drag the region into a civil war by creating strife between the components, relying on tribal and religious names, and secondly to destabilize the security and stability of NE Syria, in addition to thwarting Autonomous Administration Project.
Muhammad praised the resistance of the people of North and East Syria, and their military and security forces, including the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces.
Fadhila Muhammad stressed that the ways to confront them lie in joining the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces, continuing to organize the ranks, moving forward in consolidating national unity and peaceful coexistence, and developing the Democratic Autonomous Administration.
