PYD members stress national unity in the face of PDK practices

While the heroic resistance of the Guerrilla fighters continues in the Mediya defense areas in the face of the Turkish occupation state, the Kurdistan Democratic Party continues to collude with the occupying state, which launches fierce attacks on the Guerrilla.

In this regard, members of the Democratic Union Party spoke to ANHA's agency and stressed the need for national unity in the face of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s complicity.

Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Amina Bayram, indicated that the Kurdistan Democratic Party continues to pursue the line of treason against the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, and said: “By betraying them through their collusion with the Turkish occupier, our leaders rose to the rank of martyrdom.”

She pointed out the consequences of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's betrayal at this stage, saying: "The failure to achieve Kurdish unity so far is due to the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which stands in front of the unity project, as it receives its directives from the fascist Turkish state."

Amina Bayram held the Kurdistan Democratic Party responsible for the attacks on the Guerrilla in the defense areas of Mediya, and added: “They open the way to Turkey and even participate in launching attacks on our forces, and this is high treason.”

The member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party stressed the necessity of achieving Kurdish national unity to confront treason, and said: “All groups must unite, the people and the parties, and a Kurdish national conference must be achieved to develop solutions to the outstanding issues in Kurdistan and confront the line of treason and occupation.”

 “When the people denounce treason, it will not last.”

Member of the Relations Committee of the Democratic Union Party in Aleppo, Jihan Barkal, also pointed to the consequences of betrayal, saying: “What prevents reaching the goal is betrayal, and if we go back in time, we see that the history of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is full of betrayal.”

Jihan linked the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to personal and family interests and said: “We have never seen the Kurdistan Democratic Party seeking to secure the future of the Kurds or an attempt to defend Kurdistan, or its participation in resolving the Kurdish issue. It is always running after its personal and family interests by submitting to the instructions of the Turkish occupier.”

She concluded: "The Kurdish people, especially the people of Başûr Kurdistan, must realize the truth and oppose the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, because when the people denounce this betrayal, it will not last long."

"The Kurdistan Democratic Party seeks to thwart the liberation movement"

Muhammad Sheikho, a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, pointed out the negative repercussions of the treasonous line adopted by the Kurdistan Democratic Party on the Kurdish issue, as he said: “The Kurdistan Liberation Movement and the Kurdish people are achieving gains and progressing thanks to their resistance, but the Kurdistan Democratic Party stands before them and seeks to thwart their steps.”

Muhammad indicated that what the Kurdistan Democratic Party is doing does not serve the Kurdish cause and said: “In order to repel its complicit practices with Turkey, we must unite in parts of Kurdistan.”

He concluded by saying: "The silence of the political parties encourages the Kurdistan Democratic Party to continue to pursue the line of treason, so the silence must be broken."
