Popular discontent continues over ongoing imposition of torture, extermination system in Imrali

The Turkish authorities continue to impose a system of torture and extermination on leader Abdullah Ocalan by intensifying the isolation imposed on him and the three other detainees in Imrali Island prison. What provokes significant popular and political discontent in Kurdistan, the Middle East, and the world. 

 On this subject, the residents of the city of Qamishlo in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria spoke to ANHA's agency, expressing their rejection of the continued detention of leader Abdullah Ocalan by Turkish authorities and the violations against him.

 Fatima al-Jassem pointed out that "Turkey practices a system of torture and extermination against leader Abdullah Ocalan, despite the fact that the leader possesses both the theoretical and practical power to resolve the Kurdish issue."

 She pointed out that "by doing so, they do not intend to find a political and humanitarian solution and do not want the Kurdish people to achieve their freedom and determine their own destiny."

 She emphasized that "Leader Abdullah Ocalan represents the voice of all oppressed and wronged peoples, which drives the Turkish state to increase pressure and tighten isolation on him."

 Fatima al-Jassem expressed her hope that "Leader Abdullah Ocalan will gain his physical freedom as soon as possible," and said, "Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the key to solving all the issues of the Middle East."

 For his part, Siamand Suleiman mentioned the system of torture and extermination practiced by the Turkish state in Imrali Island prison, saying: "The Turkish state, by targeting leader Abdullah Ocalan, seeks to find a solution to the Kurdish issue in its own way; rather, it seeks to exterminate the Kurdish people."

 Siamand Suleiman pointed out the hegemonic policies pursued by the Turkish state in the Middle East, saying: "The Turkish state does not seek to solve issues, but rather to exterminate the Kurdish people from their roots. Therefore, it seeks to dominate the entire Middle East to impose its interests and agendas."

 Suleiman concluded his speech by saying: "The physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan will significantly impact the resolution of the Kurdish people's issue and the people of the region, whether in Kurdistan or the entire Middle East."

 For her part, Shama Ali pointed to the attacks by the Turkish occupying state, saying: "The goal of the occupying Turkish state is not the Kurdish parties, but rather the eradication of the Kurdish identity of the Kurdish people."

 Shama Ali added: "Thanks to leader Abdullah Ocalan, women's lives have changed, and they have become at the forefront of the struggle on all fronts. From this standpoint, we feel that the realization of the people's freedom is inevitable as soon as leader Abdullah Ocalan gains his physical freedom."
