Politician Osman Baydemir learns about DAA experience in NE, Syria

 As part of his tour of North and East Syria to learn about the political and administrative experience there, politician Osman Baydemir, a lawyer and human rights activist, visited the headquarters of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to learn about the experience of the Autonomous Administration and its trajectory in the region.

He was received by the Co-Chairs of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Avin Sweid and Hussein Osman, along with their deputy, Tarfa Osman.

During the visit, extensive discussions were held regarding the current situation in Syria and the region, along with an exchange of views on the experience of the Autonomous Administration and its role in consolidating the principles of democracy and social justice among the various communities.

The two sides also discussed ways to develop the national and democratic struggle to confront the challenges facing the region and to preserve the social fabric and the gains achieved through the efforts of the communities of North and East Syria.

They emphasized the importance of women's role in the political and social spheres and the necessity of promoting a culture of peace and coexistence, which contributes to building a democratic society based on justice and equality that guarantees the rights of all without discrimination.

The visit concluded with an emphasis on the importance of unifying efforts and strengthening national unity among the various communities to achieve the aspirations of the people for freedom and democracy and to build a bright future that safeguards dignity and strengthens the will of free people.
