The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Syria announced financial support worth $250,000 for mine clearance operations across Syrian territory in 2026.

In a statement posted on its official account on X, the embassy said the Polish government had decided to support mine clearance programs as a key step toward enhancing civilian safety and contributing to the country’s reconstruction.

It added that the donation would be provided voluntarily to the United Nations Mine Action Service in Syria, stressing the importance of these efforts in creating a safer environment for residents and infrastructure.
