PJAK discusses situation in Kurdistan, Middle East withKurdistan Toilers' Party

A PJAK delegation met with representatives of the Kurdistan Toilers' Party at the party's headquarters. The PJAK delegation was led by Co-Chairs Amir Karimi and Gulan Fahem, Foreign Relations Officer Ihan Shiako, and Relations Committee Member Rebwâr Diloḧwaz. The Kurdistan Toilers' Party delegation included Secretary-General Hawri Reza Kibi, Administrative Board Member Nawid Mehraour, and Central Committee Members Preshang Mohammadi, Mahwash Hamidi, and Wali Rostami. The delegation was received by Foreign Relations Officer Karwan Ewar.

During the meeting, both sides addressed the current situation in the four parts of Kurdistan, the broader Middle East, and the world especially the developments following the October 7 attacks and the conflict between Israel and Iran, and their implications for the Kurdish question.

The two parties also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination, the role of women in political struggle, and ongoing efforts to expand dialogue among the seven Kurdish parties in Eastern Kurdistan. Both sides affirmed their shared vision and aligned positions on mechanisms to resolve common issues.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two delegations emphasized the importance of deepening friendly relations and fostering closer ties between the parties to unify the Kurdish stance in the face of current regional challenges.
