NE Syria witnessed developments at the political and social diplomatic levels, most notably the concluding of alliances, the ratification of a new Social Contract and holding of the fourth conference of the Syrian Democratic Council.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has striven to develop its diplomatic and political work and open up to European countries and other countries of the world. Therefore, it intensified its diplomatic activity, as the Democratic Autonomous Administration’s representation abroad conducted dozens of meetings with (European officials, members and presidents) Parliament, the French Senate, various parties and movements, and the Prime Minister of Catalonia.

During the period extending from January 9, early 2023, to October 21, delegations of 12 countries made 16 visits to NE Syria to return their nationals (Spain, Barbados, France, Slovakia, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Sudan, Norway, and Canada). , New Zealand, Tajikistan and Denmark), and the Department of Foreign Relations of the Democratic Autonomous Administration handed over 529 children and women from the families of ISIS mercenaries to their countries, according to official protocols.
