PAJK: Nowruz 2025 will celebrate physical freedom for Leader Ocalan

The PAJK Coordination congratulated the world and all women on the occasion of Nowruz 2025, stating in a written message on March 21: "We congratulate Nowruz 2025, the year in which we are closer than ever to the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. We extend our congratulations to the women who are fighting for freedom and making the flame of Nowruz burn even brighter, to the entire Kurdish people, the people of Nowruz, and all the peoples of the region."

The statement expressed love, respect, and gratitude as it recalled "our comrades Mazlum, Ronahi, Berivan, Zekiya, Rahshan" and the thousands of freedom symbols who ignited the spark of Nowruz and made themselves Nowruz.

The statement continued: "As the heirs of Kawa the Blacksmith, who ended Assyrian oppression, saved the Middle East from darkness, and heralded the light with a fire he lit, our people, who have resisted for thousands of years with the strength of this tradition, celebrate this Nowruz as the holiday of the freedom of the peoples of the Middle East. We salute all the women and our people who carry the banner of 'the free leader and democratic society' to the highest peak in Nowruz 2025."

The Kurdish people are the people of Nowruz, and the Kurdish woman is the creator of the culture of Nowruz, which signifies spring, rebirth, renewal, socialization, and resistance. If this tradition and resistance continue, if our myths, culture, and memory do not disappear in this geography, it is thanks to the resistance of the Kurdish woman. This resistance carries the legacy of Kawa the Blacksmith, who destroyed centers of oppression. Many heroes like Asia and Rojava have followed this tradition, and the Kurds have become the subject of democratic and free life for the people in this geography.

Nowruz is the day when a group of Kurdish youth raised their flag against genocide and tyranny. It is the day when Mazlum Dogan declared the victory of dignity under the slogan "Resistance leads to victory" in the Amed prison, where oppression reached its peak.

Nowruz is the name of the Kurdish people's uprising against massacres in the 1990s. The Nowruz day of 2005 is the historic anniversary of the declaration of democratic confederalism and the guarantee of a free democratic life. The Kurdish people have made every Nowruz a new beginning and a rebirth.

Nowruz 2025 will become a new birth. Our people and women will fight for the era of peace and democratic society, which started with the call of our leader, more than ever before. Our people will unite in the squares and shout at the top of their voices for the physical freedom of the leader. This Nowruz 2025 will be the Nowruz of the leader.

In response to the call of our leader, the women carried their activities, which began on March 8 with love for freedom, to Nowruz, chanting the slogan "The leader's freedom is the freedom of women." The struggle of the free woman for the freedom of the leader will continue at its center. The woman will fight for a democratic and free life based on the leader’s model and will not bow to oppression. If anyone tries to impose a conspiracy against the call for peace and a democratic society, the woman will be at the forefront of the struggle as usual, with the spirit of the Nowruz uprising and resistance.

Once again, we congratulate Nowruz to all women, youth, our people, and our comrades, with the hope that this Nowruz will be the Nowruz of the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
