A minimum of 66 people were killed in areas controlled by the Damascus Authority and areas occupied by Turkish-backed mercenaries in the last 24 hours.

In Daraa, amid security chaos and instability, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the killing of a man who worked as the head of a Ba'ath Party branch in the city of Izra during the previous regime, shot by unknown assailants in northern Izra. In Damascus, another person was killed by unknown gunmen after being stabbed seven times in the back and once in the stomach, in addition to several gunshots inside his home in the Bab Sharqi neighborhood. In Deir ez-Zor, two other people were killed when a masked gang riding a motorcycle opened fire directly on worshippers as they were leaving the Al-Shammar Mosque in the Al-Mujawda village east of the city.

Additionally, the body of a person was found at Al-Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus, who had been missing for about two weeks, originating from the Al-Waroud neighborhood in the Al-Hama region. Another body, with gunshot wounds, was found in the Al-Buqa’a neighborhood in the city of Jableh.

In the same context, the Observatory confirmed the killing of the mayor of the Al-Khalidiya neighborhood by unknown gunmen inside his office in the city of Aleppo.

As a result of landmine explosions from the remnants of war, two people were killed in the city of Sanamin in northern Daraa countryside and in the Al-Hilwanji village located in the countryside of Manbij, which is under the control of Turkish-backed mercenaries ("National Army").

Additionally, 57 people were killed by gunfire from Damascus Authority forces in the cities and rural areas along the coast; 41 of them in Latakia and 16 in Tartus.
