PAJK announces its commitment to "Historic Call"

The Coordination of the Kurdistan Women’s Freedom Party (PAJK) published a message on the occasion of March 8, International Working Women’s Day.

The message reads as follows:

"As we welcome a new spring with the enthusiasm of March 8, we respectfully, lovingly, and gratefully remember all the revolutionary women who fought for freedom and created democratic and socialist values, from Rosa to Clara, from Sara to Asya.

Our struggle for women's freedom has been shaped and strengthened by the great efforts, resistance, and determination demonstrated by comrade Sakine Cansiz (Sara) and those who followed in her footsteps. In the face of a male-dominated world, the power to build freedom emerged through the world and the women’s mindset. Today, women's majestic march has reached a global scale in Kurdistan, and the realities that have surfaced through women's struggle have made women's freedom the foundation of a free life. On this basis, we celebrate March 8, International Working Women’s Day, with all women, our comrades in prisons, those fighting on the front lines of resistance and in all arenas, as well as our people and friends.

We enter another spring with the leader Abdullah Ocalan’s gift to women and the Kurdish people through the call for peace and a democratic society.
