One killed in Israeli airstrike on a car in southern Lebanon

An Israeli airstrike targeted a car in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon today, Saturday, resulting in one death, according to Lebanese media.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health's Emergency Operations Center stated in a statement that "the Israeli drone strike that targeted a car on the Tuwairi-Srifa road in the Tyre district resulted in one martyr."

An Israeli Hermes 900 drone also flew at medium altitude over Arabsalim, Habbush, and Wadi al-Akhdar in southern Lebanon. Drones also flew at very low altitude over Ansar, al-Zarariyeh, Aba, Jebshit, al-Kharayeb, and Briqa.

Meanwhile, an Israeli drone flew at low altitude over several towns in the Tyre district, reaching the banks of the Litani River in the Qasmiyeh area.

Israeli Drone Carrying a Grenade Crashes

The Lebanese Army also announced today the crash of an Israeli drone carrying a hand grenade in the south of the country. The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation said in a statement posted on its website, "In light of the Israeli enemy's continued attacks and violations of national sovereignty, an Israeli drone carrying a hand grenade crashed today in the outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal - Marjeyoun."

It added, "An army patrol secured the area around the crash site, detonated the hand grenade, and transferred the drone to the relevant unit for inspection and necessary action."
