Officer killed, three injured by Israeli attack on Damascus
An officer from the Damascus government forces was killed and three others were injured in an Israeli attack that targeted the Kafr Sousa area in Damascus at midnight on Saturday-Sunday.
The official Damascus government agency reported, quoting a military source, that an Israeli aggression targeted several military sites in the southern region and a residential building in the Kafr Sousa area in Damascus at midnight today.
The source indicated that the attack originated from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, adding, "Our air defense systems confronted the enemy's missiles despite their intensity and shot down a considerable number of them."
According to the agency, these attacks resulted in the death of a Damascus government forces officer and the injury of three others due to the Israeli airstrike.
