Number of injured in Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh attacks rises to 19

The number of civilian casualties resulting from attacks carried out by armed factions affiliated with Syria’s transitional government on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo has risen to 19 injured, in addition to the martyrdom of a woman, as a cautious calm prevails in the area.

Sources in the Health Council of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods told ANHA correspondent in Aleppo that the preliminary toll of victims from the attacks carried out by armed factions affiliated with the transitional government on the two neighborhoods has so far reached 19 wounded civilians, including three children and four women.

According to the sources, the injured are:

Hannan Abdulhamid Ismail (20), Mohammad Abdulhamid (19), Abdulhamid Ismail (48), Zakaria Khalifa (53), Abdo Aswad (40), Mohammad Nidal Ibrahim (18), Aydel Ali (9), Dijla Othman (34), Doghan Allo (18), Abdulrahman Horo (18), Jamil Akkash (22), Mahmoud Oso (20), Mirkan Bakr (22), Aref Bilal (20), Ruyarin Habash (13), Zainab Hannan (25), Osama Batikh (30), Omar Abdul Qader Trab (15), and Nahla Abdulrahman Dabboul (40).

The sources also confirmed the martyrdom of the citizen Fadwa Mohammad Al-Kurdi (57), from the Arab component, as a result of the shelling that targeted the two neighborhoods last evening using various types of weapons.

The sources indicated that a cautious calm is prevailing along the frontlines surrounding the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, following what was described as a long night of shelling and direct targeting of civilians.
