Israeli aircraft launched new airstrikes today on three locations in the city of Hama, Israel's Channel 13 said.

The targets were the 47th Brigade headquarters, a military base in the western Hama countryside that was formerly allied with the Ba'ath regime.

In an unrelated event, Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee reported that "five Syrian citizens of the Druze population were evacuated for treatment within Israel after being wounded within Syrian territory. They were transferred to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed."

He added, "Israeli army forces are deployed in southern Syria and continue to be prepared to prevent the incursion of enemy forces into the area and Druze villages."

He also clarified that "the IDF continues to monitor developments and is prepared to confront various scenarios."
