New Israeli incursion in Damascus Countryside

Israeli forces have advanced into Syrian territory, specifically targeting the Beit Jinn area, located about 50 kilometers southwest of Damascus, in a clear escalation along the Syrian-Israeli border.

Residents of the Damascus Countryside reported that Israeli forces penetrated the Beit Jinn area using a large number of military vehicles.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated that the forces employed around 11 vehicles in the new incursion and opened direct fire on civilians, causing panic among the local population.

It is noteworthy that in recent hours, Israeli forces also advanced into the western neighborhood of Jbata al-Khashab village in the Quneitra countryside, alongside tank movements near the newly established military base. They also entered the nearby village of Taranja, raided three homes, and then withdrew toward Tal al-Hamriya in Quneitra countryside.

Amid these movements, the Syrian transitional government has not issued any official statement regarding the escalation and developments along the border.
